Selena Mercuri is a Toronto-based writer currently working on her debut novel, which explores themes of identity and generational trauma. She holds a BA from the University of Toronto and is studying book publishing at Toronto Metropolitan University. Her fiction, poetry, and nonfiction have appeared in The Fiddlehead, The Hart House Review, The Trinity Review, and The Literary Review of Canada. She was awarded the first-place Norma Epstein Creative Writing Award and the third-place Hart House Literary Award.
