Kathleen Brammall

Kathleen Brammall, writer

Kathleen Brammall has written three short plays which were given staged readings at the Grand Theatre’s Playwrights Cabaret in London. She’s recently finished her first novel and is working on a collection of short stories. Currently, she lives in rural southern Ontario with her partner and their Jack Russell Terrorist, affectionately known as Mooglie.

The House Volume 9, Issue 1

When her 90-year-old neighbour moved out of the home where she had lived for over half a century, Kathleen Brammall noticed a change almost immediately, watching as the house seemed to go through a period of mourning. She wrote The House as a way to capture this observation, sharing that loss is a funny thing—despite all its heaviness, there is always a way through.
