Meet Sorche, the Newest Blank Spaces Teammate
Hello Blank Spaces community!
My name is Sorche Paterson and I am an aspiring writer. I grew up in Oakville, lived in Germany for 3 years, returned to my childhood home for two years, and then went back to Germany to complete my senior year of high school at Black Forest Academy, a missionary school nestled in the heart of the Black Forest. I moved to Meaford after graduation and now spend my time on the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay. For the last four years I've worked at The Meaford Independent newspaper writing articles about cooking, gardening, and local interest stories.
For the last ten years I've written many drafts of my first novel and a couple drafts of two other books. Recently, I've been working on finishing my Certificate of Writing through the University of Toronto School of Studies.
In my spare time I love reading, watching K-Dramas, and being with my nieces and nephew.
I am excited to be a proofreader for Blank Spaces and hope to expand my craft through exposure to a wider range of writing styles. Storytelling is my greatest passion whether through reading or writing and I look forward to doing more of that in an official capacity with Blank Spaces.
