Walker Pityn is an MFA in Writing graduate from the University of Saskatchewan, where he wrote poetry and realistic fiction. His work currently explores coming of age, codependency, and anticipatory anxiety. He has been published in in medias res, River Volta Review of Books, and others. He is a contributing editor at ARC Poetry magazine and a sessional lecturer at Fanshawe. He lives in Kitchener with his partner and their grumpy, old Shorkie-lion named Simba.
