Alyssa Thiessen is a writer and a teacher hailing from the vibrant centre of Canada. She teaches high school in southern Manitoba, and her work can be found in a number of Canadian magazines and anthologies. She has also authored three Young Adult novels. Although she loves the beauty of the written word and the thrill of engaging learners, her greatest joy is found in her family. She currently resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her husband, their three children, and their Miniature Schnauzer.
