Our First Ever LIVE ZOOM EVENT
Earlier in 2021 we launched our inaugural cash fiction contest, calling writers across Canada to submit stories under the theme of The Things We Leave Behind. Though we weren’t overwhelmed with entries, the competition was furious, and we narrowed the field down to a shortlist of eight, all of whom will be published in an anthology aptly named, The Things We Leave Behind, set to be released in April of 2022.
One lucky writer will be honoured with the cash prize of nearly $340, presented by our special guest grand prize judge, Rachel Laverdiere, editor at Barren Magazine out of Michigan.
Rachel, the shortlist judges, and all eight finalists will be live on Zoom as we reveal the winner of the cash prize and officially launch the pre-order sale of the collection with a sneak peak at the cover art.
