The new anthology boasts beautiful cover art by Anjali Kapoor Kohli, and there’s no denying that the colours have a distinctive autumn feel.
That’s why we’ve chosen a very “autumny” drink to commemorate the launch of this beauty!
Not being allowed to get together in person has certainly thrown a wrench into our launch party plans, but if you know us even a little bit, you know we’re not going to let that keep us down! It’s our hope that you’ll join us online on Saturday, September 26 at 7:00 p.m. EST for a virtual celebration. We will be sharing our continuing vision, inviting some very special guests to read their pieces, and giving you opportunities to win FREE STUFF!
Yes, we’ll be provinces apart—maybe even countries—but nothing connects people like sharing special moments over a cuppa sumthin’ yummy!

We’re making Apple Cider Floats! 🍻
Why? Because it’s apple season and many Canadian orchards produce their own cider 🇨🇦🍏🍎. There’s probably one close to you. Be a doll and give that small business a visit!
Also… a float is just fun. You can’t argue with that!
Ingredients:
Fresh local apple cider
Sparkling apple cider
French vanilla ice cream
Scoop ice cream into a cup* and pour equal parts sparkling apple cider** & fresh apple cider
Gussy it up with fun toppings (see below)
