Ted McInnis has been writing full time for eight years near the shores of the Atlantic in St. Margarets Bay, Nova Scotia. Most of the themes in his three novels and collection of short stories come from honed memories and supposedly insignificant incidents while growing up in a small former-glory coal town. Somehow these seeds of innocence and incidents bloom into fiction.
Ted lives in Nova Scotia with Diane, his wife of 35 years, and a cat, Albert, always with an ear out for his son’s truck in the driveway (coming for a chat) or daughter’s note that she and family (i.e. grandchildren) are coming for a visit from British Columbia.
