Sheila’s short story “Arbour Marie” placed top three in the Penguin Random House Canada Student Award For Fiction in 2022 and one of her non-fiction humour pieces was accepted by Reader’s Digest. In addition to shorter prose, she has written a novel, a memoir, several screenplays and a plethora of poems.
Sheila completed the Creative Writing program at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies and the Humber Summer Workshop in Creative Writing. She’s a member of the Canadian Author’s Association (CAA) and is still on Twitter @SheilaBDuncan, where she often tries too hard to be funny.
