Rose Camara, writer
Rose Camara is an emerging writer, public servant, and recovering lawyer living and working on the Lekwungen people’s territory known as Victoria. She writes mostly short fiction and nonfiction but is currently focused on a larger fiction project. Her writing explores themes of health, resilience, and agency. Rose was shortlisted for Room Magazine’s 2021 Short Forms Contest. Other than writing, Rose spends her time corralling her children, gardening, and transporting books to and from the library.
