Paul Desjardins, poet
An avid photographer of Canada’s flora and fauna since the late 80s, Paul Desjardins, during the course of that time, has provided text and graphics for many magazine articles relative to western Canadian history, as well as photos for numerous calendar companies. Much of his work can be found in publications such as: Teldon Calendars, Western People, Okanagan Life, BC Magazine, and World Magazine. In addition, he spread his poetry wings in 2014 with his son, Doug (a children’s book illustrator) and published a book, entitled Limericks Illustrated. Paul taught English and French in the Central Okanagan for 34 years and retired in 2007. He lives with his wife, Anita, and their cat, Belle, in West Kelowna, BC.
