Kristin Fast is a writer from Central Alberta. Living between the prairies and the mountains, she has plenty of opportunity to explore both the majestic and mundane. Her writing draws on myth and fairy tales, early modern and modernist styles, and a healthy dose of sensory exploration. She loves art that doesn’t compromise but comports itself with flair.  A web developer by day, she scribbles to the cheerful bounce of big band jazz in the evening. She holds an MA in English & Film Studies from the University of Alberta.
