Jeanette Vo

Jeanette Vo, writer

Jeanette Vo is especially interested in the workings of the human mind and heart– the way they talk, play and sing together–even when they don’t. She holds a BA in English literature and psychology from the University of British Columbia. Her poetry and fiction have appeared in the magazines Ricepaper, Existere, filling Station, (parenthetical), Vallum, and Prairie Journal. She also writes creative nonfiction. Jeanette lives and works in Richmond, BC.

You Could Never Forget What It’s Like to be Here Volume 7, Issue 4

Jeanette Vo shares about the desire for a moment of grief, how the symphony can contain opportunity for reflection and memory, and how an inconsiderate stranger can strip it all away in her fictional piece, A Moment.
