Janette Shipston Chan, writer
Janette Shipston Chan grew up in Thunder Bay. She now lives in Toronto where she writes and occasionally blogs (brainsoupblogblog.wordpress.com). Janette is currently writing a middle-grade fantasy inspired by a paragraph in ‘Travels in the Land of Kubilai Khan’ by Marco Polo. She conquers the summer heat with expertly made ice cold Pimm’s Cups on the back deck.
Hells Bells — Volume 1, Issue 1
Hells Bells by Janette Shipston Chan journeys back to the discovery of AC ‘Lightning Bolt’ DC, and what it meant to bring such an album into the home of ‘fusty English parents’ who celebrated Bing Crosby and rejected religion.
