Jacalyn den Haan is an emerging writer and education student from varying locations in Canada’s west. She is passionate about giving young people opportunities to play with and construct a deeper understanding of language. While her primary mode is poetry, she also experiments with fiction and with editing. Her self-published chapbooks include A Fragile Youth and Deep Creek, a compilation of poetry and photography, and she is working on a third compilation of poetry, a memoir told through verse.
