Don Palmer
Don Palmer, poet
Don Palmer is from Montreal, Quebec where he studied Children’s Literature at Dawson College and English Literature at Concordia University. Prolific in the early 1980s 19 of his poems saw publication in 30 journals in the U.S. and Canada. A move of cities for a career running a community mental health agency in Ottawa took him away from the thought of a full-time literary career, but since his retirement last year, he has returned to writing poetry; unquestionably his first love. Recent publications include Wild Greens and Reedy Branch Review, Syncopation Literary Journal and California State Poetry Society.
