Carol Anne Shaw is the author of three books in the award-winning HANNAH series (Ronsdale Press) and is currently working on a fourth. When she isn’t writing, Carol Anne can often be found painting at her easel or hiking the local trails near her home with a canine friend or two. She and her husband have lived in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island for twenty-five years, and have two grown sons who make their homes close by.
